Yes, and we want you to know it. Ring sizing, broken chains, clasps, prongs, missing stones, restringing, and full restorations. Estimates are always free.
Small repairs and restringing are done right here in the store. Larger work goes to the master jeweler we have trusted for more than 30 years. Same hands, same standard, since before some of our customers were born.
About two weeks for most repairs. Need it faster? Rush jobs can usually be done in one to three days. Just tell us your deadline when you drop it off.
Absolutely. Bring a sketch on a napkin, a screenshot, a magazine page, or just a description. We will walk you through stones, metals, and settings and design it together. We work with any budget.
Custom designs and custom wedding bands usually take up to three weeks. Worth it.
Very often, yes. Lost or stolen pieces can be duplicated. If the part is not available from our vendors, we can have it custom made.

Yes, and it is free. In-store ultrasonic cleaning and buffing, any time. Stop by before a big night out. Kinda chic to have jewelry that actually sparkles.
Totally normal. White gold is rhodium plated, and the plating wears over time. Rhodium plating or refinishing a ring runs about $45 and brings back the bright white finish.
Yes. A small jar of our J&L private-label cleaner is $8 and is safe for all jewelry.
Bring it in a couple of times a year. We check prongs, loose stones, clasps, and setting wear. Preventive care is a lot easier than replacing a lost diamond.
A verbal appraisal is free. Written appraisals for insurance average $150 and up per piece, depending on the item. Bring it in and we will quote you before any work begins.
Bring in fine jewelry or high-end watches and we price them for our consignment case. Pieces stay about six months. When your item sells, you receive 70% and we keep 30%. If it has not sold by then, we either return it or talk about adjusting the price.
Real gold, platinum, fine gemstone jewelry, and higher-value pieces. We do not take costume jewelry or sterling silver.
Bring the whole box. We will help you identify what is gold and what is valuable, help divide pieces among siblings fairly, and tell you honestly what is worth consigning, redesigning, or selling as scrap. No pressure, ever. This is one of the most meaningful things we do.
Yes. We weigh your jewelry on site, right in front of you, and pay by check based on the current gold price. No mail-in envelopes, no mystery math.
Most flat-surface pieces are engraved right here. Hand engraving and machine engraving on other pieces go to our specialist engravers. Prices vary by piece and the amount of engraving.
Gold, silver, and rhodium plating are all available.
We have real solutions for arthritis and changing hands: a custom hinged shank that opens and closes, ring guards fitted while you wait, a spring guard soldered inside the ring, or small adjustment balls soldered inside the shank. Come try the options.
